Coca-Cola Bottling Company United has signed a 10-year deal for naming rights at the amphitheater, according to Conrad Rafield, board chairman of Coca-Cola United. No dollar figure for the deal was announced on Tuesday at a press conference held at the amphitheater site, near the corner of 15th Avenue North and 25th Street North.

Coca-Cola Bottling Company United’s name will be found everywhere once the amphitheater is open. The company said the investment is about helping the community.

The Coca-Cola Amphitheater, a 9,380-seat venue, is owned by the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex and managed by Live Nation. The venue has been under construction since June, and is expected to present its first show in mid- to late June, organizers confirmed Tuesday at a press conference on site.
