These are not the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick Patriots — not even close — but you can’t take away what Jeff Ulbrich’s defense and Aaron Whitecotton’s defensive line did in this game. The Jets were a step (at least) quicker than the Patriots and had Jacoby Brissett bracing to be hit for most of the game.

Shortly after Breece Hall plunged into the end zone to give New York a 14–0 lead in the second quarter, quarterback Aaron Rodgers went over to coach Robert Saleh, who prepared himself for a celebratory hug. Rodgers shoved him away and glared at Saleh as he strolled toward the bench.

After getting hurt just four plays into his first Jets home game last year, Aaron Rodgers played a full game on Thursday night, and he said hearing Jets fans chant his name during the win over the Patriots meant a lot to him.
