Agra's historical monuments, including the Taj Mahal, have been significantly damaged by continuous rain over 48 hours. The Archaeological Survey of India is investigating water seepage from the main dome and flooding in nearby gardens.

Following the reports of water leakage, a probe began, however, no damage has been found on the main dome even as the garden adjacent to the Taj Mahal remains submerged.
