Team India's playing XI for the second test against Bangladesh in Kanpur could witness a change with more dependency on spinners coming into play. According to ESPNCricinfo report, the Green Park stadium expected to roll out a black soil pitch with low bounce and carry than the Chennai pitch.

The last time Team India played a Test match in Kanpur was in November of 2021 against New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane captained India in that game.

Team India attained a thumping 280-run win over Bangladesh in IND vs BAN Chennai Test, gaining a 1-0 lead in two-match Test series. As they turn their attention to IND vs BAN 2nd Test, BCCI announced that the same Indian squad will be retained for the series finale with no changes.
